Mike’s career in digital media spans over 20 years, with time spent in news, marketing, e-learning and sports. He’s honed his craft in videography, journalism, graphic and web design as well as a digital strategy and personnel management.  Mike was on the core team that started NASCAR Digital Media, the home of NASCAR’s digital platform and content apparatus. He currently leads NASCAR Creative Design, the award winning group responsible for all creative services at NASCAR. 

In addition to his creative work in the digital space, Mike is a writer and speaker. On the corporate side, he discussed business and design at the Society of News Design and Skookum. But he also examines race, gender and religion in his writing for Charlotte magazine and The Salt Collective and in his speeches for Pecha Kucha and The Fund for American Studies. 

Mike currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Meka and daughter Macey.
